Cookies

The site counts visits in two ways. One never uses cookies. The other, Google Analytics, only sets cookies after you accept. Here you can read what runs, what is stored and how to change your mind.

What runs on the site

Vercel Web Analytics. Counts page views and Core Web Vitals without cookies. It stores no personal data and cannot recognise you across visits.

Google Analytics 4, through Google Tag Manager. Loads on every page with Google Consent Mode v2 in advanced mode. Until you accept, every signal is set to “denied”: Google Analytics then sends cookieless pings without an identifier and sets no cookie. After you accept, it sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* on this domain, which keep an anonymous visitor id for 2 years. We use the counts to see which pages help buyers and which do not.

Your choice itself. Your answer to the banner is kept in your browser under the key ft-consent (local storage, not a cookie): whether you accepted statistics, the date, and a version number. Nothing else is stored and it never leaves your browser.

No advertising cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising tags. The three advertising signals of Consent Mode (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) stay “denied” whatever you choose. If that ever changes, the banner will say so first.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal: the banner does not appear and Google Analytics keeps running without cookies. The same signal, and Do Not Track, also keep your company out of the buyer signals.

Change your choice

You can accept or withdraw at any time. Withdrawing stops new cookies at once; cookies that are already set expire on their own or you delete them in your browser.

The same button sits in the footer of every page under “Method and neutrality”.

Cookies the site needs to work

Signing in sets a session cookie from our login provider (Neon Auth) on this domain, and a short cookie ft_next (15 minutes) remembers which page to return to after login. Both are needed to sign you in and keep you signed in, and neither is used for statistics. As long as you do not sign in, the site sets no cookie at all.
