How we earn money
The site is free for buyers. Vendors pay for services around their profile. Here you can read which ones, and what they cannot buy.
What vendors cannot buy
- A higher score or a better place in a ranking.
- A label such as “recommended”, “top pick” or an award.
- Leaving out a competitor, or a place on a competitor’s page.
- Hiding a negative review or a data point that is correct.
Our data model has no field through which paying could influence the ranking. Every score comes from the published method.
What vendors can buy
- Basic profile (free). Every tool in a category gets a profile and a score. A vendor can have data corrected, with a source.
- Verified profile. Logo, screenshots, video, a demo link and its own texts in Dutch, French and English, plus monthly statistics of the profile.
- Buyer signals. A weekly overview of companies researching a category: company, topic and week. Never names or contact details of persons.
- Compare 3. A buyer asks for a comparison from at most three vendors and gives consent for each vendor.
Later, licences for awards and reports will be added. Winning an award is always free, and every winner may display the badge for free. The prices are on the page plans for vendors.
